2nd New Quay and Llanarth Beaver Scouts Sleepover |
Recently 12 Beavers took part in a sleepover at Ty Gwyn rare breeds farm, Dihewyd.
After putting kit in the holiday cottage, where the Beavers were going to sleep that night, they were given a tour of the farm by leader Wolverine and had the chance to stroke a piglet and the larger pigs and saw goats, a pony, chickens and ducks.
During the day they also took part in a treasure hunt around the farm, did craft activities and tackled the assault course. After the evening meal the Beavers went for a night walk around the farm before settling down to sleep in the holiday cottage.
The Beavers enjoyed the sleepover and are looking forward to the next one.
